Level 1-2 Vinyasa: Heart-Opening

A 60min Heart-Opening (backbending!) practice that invites you to open you body-temple to all unexpected visitors.  It begins with a “heart bench” which requires 2 blocks or a blanket to set up (see pictures below).    Our inspiration for this vinyasa flow was a poem by Rumi:

Heart bench using blanket roll right underneath your spine (place the blanket about 4 -6 " away from your butt, then lay back) You may want to make the roll thicker than pictured here.  You can also use a foam roller.
