I lead group and private yoga sessions in the West Denver Metro Area.  “Yoga is to be adapted to the body – not the other way around”- this is the keystone philosophy that supports my work.

My classes combine both long-held standing postures (in the Anusara alignment-based style) AND flowing movement matched with breath – vinyasa.  I want for you to create an intimate connection to your breath, life force energy, and a meditative dance. I use calming and uplifting music to help you to drop into your own “flow.”  My classes are casual and unique; I use mantra (repetitive phrases or prayers.See example of mantra here ) to inspire each practitioner through their yogic study of themselves. I encourage my students to move at their own pace, their own comfort level or edge and to take variations they need and to discard what doesn’t work for them. I often say “You are the expert on YOU!”

 All of my sessions emphasize the yogic principle of SANTOSHA (contentment, orvira1.1 non – judgement).

 I am E- RYT (Yoga Alliance) Certified, with over 8 years of teaching experience and Teacher Trainings in Anusara Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Power Yoga. I also have experience with prenatal, chronic pain, and yoga for athletes.

About me:

I have been practicing yoga since 2004 and teaching since 2006.  I prefer a gentle, non-competitive approach to the practice – invite a challenge, and release the struggle.  ardha ustrasanMy biggest challenge is SANTOSHA – learning to be as you are and gain supreme and tranquil joy; that’s why I named my website Priceless Yoga Santosha.  I utilize flow, mantra, and music to inspire me daily.

I have lived and practiced in Clarence, NY, Tucson, AZ, Great Falls, MT, and Denver, CO. My favorite things are hiking with my husband and dog, (“Shanti”) dancing, the ocean, and the summertime.
